just trying to determine whether my new scoob is classified as a 'true import' or not. I know it is UK Spec, but ....
On UK models does the VIN start JF1GDAKD32?
ALso on section 4 of the V5, in variant do people have GDA, version 080?
Also do you have a type approval number, its line K, in section 4.

Any help would be most appreciated.

If its a UK spec car then it wont be classed as a true import, it will be a parallel (sp) import rather than a grey import.
Id point you towards the sidc website for the chassis numbers but they dont have anything passed 2000 so you may have to do a search on google to find what your after.

I've just ordered a new MAF sensor, so I just happened to have the V5 to hand...

Mine's a UK 2000MY turbo, 4 door saloon. The V5 has nothing recorded against either variant or type.

Same for Type Approval - nothing recorded.
