Default What advantages...

... do Oil Temp gauges have over Oil Pressure gauges and vice versa??

Reason for asking is that I have got a spare hole in my twin A-Pillar pod and need to know which one would be more useful for me.

They are both identical digital gauges, but which will give me more useful information as to the health/behaviour of my engine.

I'm guessing that the Oil Temp gauge will be easier to fit then the Oil Pressure gauge, is that correct??

I currently have a A/F Ratio Meter and a Boost Gauge mounted in my drivers side heater vent.

Cheers,
Grant

both are useful, if you drive the car hard oil temp might be of more use out the two but difficult call

There are oil pressure and temp guages available from many guage suppliers. Mocal, Autometer etc.
