Default Removing battery issues

I need to swap the battery out, i was wondering what issues i'm likely to face as i don't have the code for the stereo? How do i know if one is set, also does it matter if power is taken off to replace the battery.
cheers

Other than reseting the clock and as you say radio code there shoud be no other issues.

If you dont have the radio code then get a code saver from halfords or similar store.
This is a device that plugs in the cigarette lighter and keeps the systems powered up while the battery is removed. If you do this you must make sure the ignition is switched to the first click before removing the battery.
