????????????????????????????????????
i have alredy asked the question about green panel filters damaging maf sensors.
i took my car to my nearist subaru dealers for a M.O.T which the car failed !!!
on emissions they said it was either the because i had taked the centre cat off or the maf sensor had gone ? so with the fact that i had not any problems (just the odd idle flutter) i presumed it was the cat and went home to get it. on the way home it ran terrible and kept stalling ! then i dont know if it would cause this but i heared a big bang ? i sh@ myself but would this happen as i have noticed something had hit my windscreen and i was on the motorway ? if this was due to the maf could i have caused any damage ???? also i was only cruising at about 60mph and not reving it hard !!!!

how old is the car,if you have just recently fitted green filter-the maf sensor could have been damaged, the rough idle sounds like a maf sensor in which case i would not drive it just in case, probably needs a subaru specialist to see the car and check it out, bang does not sound good though
