What spec car have you got at the moment? (what model, what mods, what boost is it running etc). I can't give a good answer anyway, but those that can will need to know the answers to the above to give a better idea.

yeah, thats a pretty open question. Why would you want to fit a restrictor, what car have you got, and who advised you to fit a restrictor?
I'm guessing youre running Group N rallying, as they use ID 32mm restrictors. If this is the case, expect to be about 270-280 horsepower maximum. IF you are rallying Group N however, horsepower is not what you should be looking at.

What kind of ECU have you got? There's a few about now with switchable maps. Most people use them for "valet" mode or race versus road fuel, but no reason you couldn't have a switchable map for restrictor in / restrictor out, if your ECU can handle it. If you're looking to buy an aftermarket ECU with your re-map, worth thinking about.

Our group N STi 6 runs a 32mm restrictor. It is running 275bhp/320ft-lbs torque. The type of restrictor that you use makes a lot of difference as well apparently. Ours is from TEG sport. I think the technical bit was that for optimum air flow and stability, the length of the restrictor should be 4 times the diameter.
