Default boost gauge fitting on a 3000gto

mate has an oldish 3000gto and recently fitted a manual boost controller.
problem is finding out what pressure the car is boosting at as detonation is not preffered.

problem is turbos are at the front and back of the engine and unsure where a boost controller could be fitted to show what the car is boosting at.

im guessing inlet manifold or the like but rather unsure!

sorry im not very good at typing stuff tends to get a bit jumbeled up!
