Unhappy Help needed with a grinding noise...

I keep getting a grinding noise coming from the front passenger side wheel area that sounds just like what you get when first drive the car after it's stood for while and the discs have rusted a little - but I'm getting it more often even though the discs are clean and the pads aren't worn, and not just when braking?

Any idea's?

Could it be the brakes not releasing properly?

I've got some new pads to go on, just awaiting on discs at the mo so I'm hopeful it'll be sorted when these are fitted.

Where does grit usually gather? between discs & pad?

I am getting a little judder under braking, although bleeding the lines helped to reduce this a lot, I'm still getting some.

Grit normally accumulates between the disc and the stone guard behind it. If you aren't sure and want me to have a look, pm me.

Cheers Mark, I'll be having a good look around when my new discs land, hopefully they and the new pads (and a big helping of copper grease) will sort it out.

If it still persists after that then I'll probably take you up on the offer.
