IIRC mine for a Classic MY97 (no model year stated..try helping yourself)

Cost:

(13073AA142 - the one you "should" need) £65.05+vat (£76.43inc)

(13085AA080 - toothed idler IIRC) £59.53+vat (£69.95inc)

Both from main dealers

Cheers - already ordered from main dealers - price has risen to 72.78 ex vat for 13073AA142 - those part no's are the revised ones - If any one is interested I now have the part no list for classics - they currently use these to C/R the revised numbers.

Can't imagine there'd be any problems doing that as long as the roller was still in goo dnick - where'd you get the bearing from??

True...when I saw the price I nearly that did myself..the Bearing are only standard NSK jobbies which I could get off the shelf at Wyko (bearing suppliers).

Time constraints dictated otherwise though.....should have kept the old ones, replaced the bearings and sold them on ebay!

Cool - had to replace quick myself too - next time I'll get bearings BEFORE I start on the cam belt and the amazing one-shot wonder that is the tensioner...

Sorry I might be being a bit thick here. So you took the roller to a bearing supplier and said have you got one of these, pointing to the bearing, or did you give them the bearing serial number?
