Fuel pressure reg vacuum connection?
HI all, about to fit a fuel pressure regulator in the next couple of days, does it go between the middle pipe of the 3 on the right of the manifold? and what about the vacuum pipe from the original FPR, I can see it connected to the oem valve but where does the other end connected to/come out, does it follow the fuel pipe to the other side or does it go to the manifold or do you block this of and find a different vacuum take of point on the manifold for the new FPR.

I have just fitted an SX FPR to my Sti v3.
I think the vac pipe issue is the same.
My FPR is located close to the stock fuel filter (battery side) of the engine, so the vac pipe from the original FPR to the inlet manifold will not reach.
I simply piped the vac port on the SX FPR across the back of the engine and across to the inlet manifold brass pipe that the original pipe went to.
The inside diameter of the vac tube must be very small to be a good fit on the brass tube.
For security I used small stainless clips to each end of the vac pipe.
I hope this answers you question.

theres a school of thought that says you should blank off the barb on no.3 runner (little bit of vac line with a screw/bolt in the end) and take off from the central area of the inlet manifold.....
more reliable reading, less fluctuation (I assume at gearchange)..
