Default Life expectancy of coil packs?

As title for a MY93 WRX. I changed them about 2 years ago but am wondering how long they are likely to last? Also, is it easy to change to the later central coil set up? Cheers.

if you change again then get the bosch coil packs. The standard coils should last much more than 2 years though.

Personally i'd stick with the OEM coil packs and not go to the Bosch ones.

When my car came over from Japan the old coils on there lasted 4 years, god knows how old they were when the car came over. I'm guessing they were no where near new. I'd expect maybe 4-5 years life at least.

Tony.
