CUTTING OUT

My car is cutting out at full throttle in 4th and 5th gear.

What could this be? And how can it be sorted out?

From: Bournemouth - 5x Ex Impreza owner. 997 GT3 CS.

Sounds like the fuel cut due to overboost. Can happen when its a lot colder than normal. Is it modified?

why not drive slower

fuel cut at top revs in 5th gear

Think he meant foot flat rather than full revs, I hope
