ok my car is playing up again and i need your help to diagnose it.
here goes you just touch the throttle it accelerates fine,put your foot down and there is a hestation at about 3-4 thou rpm,then as the turbo hits only .7 bar it hits what feels like fuel cut when this happens the boost gauge goes up sharply then down and the rev counter also dropssometimes a little sometimes a lot depending on the amount of throttle you give.
please help need it running right have a long drive in a few weeks.

 

What car is it mate?

You done a fault code check?

hi its a 91 legacy,i haven't done a code check yet but i have changed the coils and plugs.
something which may help today i was pulling hard in 3rd thenthe car stopped when i say stopped it just bogged down the rev counter died along with the boost gauge it stayed like this for a few seconds untill i changed to 4th then away it went again,the rev counter came back to life the instant i pressed the clutch.
no cel light comes on when this happens.
