Default what does 1 bar boost equate to?

What does 1 bar boost mean in psi ?

Any ideas guys and gals ?

1bar = 14.5038 psi (lb/sq in)

Depends what age. The '97 onward cars with the TD04 turbo run about 0.9 Bar - 13.05 psi boost as standard

cheers mate the reason i ask is that with the center cat off and a back box and dump valve its runing 1 bar at full revs ?, so just wanted to check what was safe .

cool cheers i did read last night that anywhere over 1.2 bar isnt good on a uk impreza?
