2002WRX intercooler on a MY99. A worthwhile upgrade?
I'm looking for a new IC but don't really want a front mount, I've looked into it a bit and the 2002 TMIC is about 30% bigger but the 2004 TMIC is about 60% bigger, I don't plan on running sill horses as I need to drive it everyday.
Just wondering if it's worth putting the 2002 TMIC on or holding out for a 2004 one??

Wait for 2004 TMIC - as bigger is always better. You might not notice the difference till a hot day and then she dets with the smaller IC.
It will also give you more scope for more boost later - if the urge arrives...as it does.
