Default help needed by newbie..

Hola!
new kid(man) on the bloke tonight..
can you help?? i have a 1997 turbo wagon(uk) and want to know the first mods/add-ons..i should do first?? my car is standard and ready to be breathed on...gently at first!!

i was thinking..dump/blow off valve, de cat, change filters..
i see the 15bhp add ons and the 40bhp air meter adjusters on ebay...are these reliable? any good?

sorry for all the questions...

A UK '97 should be 208 bhp
A full decat costs about £500 (though you can do the exhaust in stages)
Panel filters are about £40 or an induction kit from K&N etc are about £90 (I think)

Don't bother with a remap yet (just found out your years ECU can be re-mapped, but don't know the costs yet, expect it will be around £700 though).

Stick to th better engine breathing route untill you've built up some more ideas from reading what others have done on here
