DIY intercoolers

Is it possible to make up ur own front mount intercooler .

Has anyone ever tried this and what was the result .

the pipe work is very important as is a good core, the intercooler isnt too hard to buy but the pipework is a nightmare

Have you had a go at it steve?

Can u use an intercooler from a differant car ,if so what would fit ?

i know of people who have bought intercooler cores then cant get the pipework as they dont want to pay the price

the kit is a matched system and its not advisable to buy seperate
