Default Green panel filter or blitz sus filter

Hi, i am thinking of changing the air filter on my00 classic with a full decat and wanted your opinions on the following filters or anything that you could recomend. One option is a green panel filter P509706. The second option is a blitz sus cone filter which i have read is suposed to be quite good as its filter element is mesh, therefore no oil to go on the maf sensor and cause it to fail.

Cheers

I had this dilema a year ago and went for the green cotton filter, certainly had no regrets myself as i heard that cone filters can cause trouble

I've used the Blitz for nearly 4 years on my classic. However, I would be tempted go for the green in your case.

Just this minute taken K+N cone off after maf failure/lumpy idle. Replaced with STI panel. Better throttle response and so much smoother when driving

The Maf is a good point,

Resinator box removal, power eng induction kit

or

green panel filter

If you go induction, prepare yourself for the monster hot air intake thread !

I went from Blitz to Green to help avoid MAF failure (MY97 Sti) - miss the sound but throttle response is much better!

I had a Blitz SUS filter on for a year with no probs then the MAF went
Although a nice looking filter the actual filtration was rubbish and the induction pipework was filthy
Back on orignal airbox with a K&N panel filter, no MAF issues for nearly 2 years
