Default KnockLink readings.....

hi

can anyone tell me what should be a Good knockLink readung for a good condition engine?? ie. 2 green or one orange someimes???

I think it depends on the car. My remapped '05 JDM STI normally gives just one flickering green at full chat - though I got a bad tank of fuel last week and saw all five. I've heard others suggest that one or two greens is OK, but anything more than that requires investigation. It may just be background engine noise, but it's worth getting confirmation.

I usually get the bottom green flickering.. sometime a flicker off the 2nd green.
Never seen orange yet.

i get red some times on gear change but i did read some where it may be just gear box nize hope its right!!

Yes it is, the clunk from 1st to 2nd gear normally.
