Advice needed
The Car
MY95 WRX Wagon, full de-cat and STI Panel filter fitted about 6 months ago, otherwise standard.
The problem
If I have not driven the car for a couple of days it starts fine and is OK while on the cold start/fast idle. Once it drops back to normal it idles's really rough and is very hesitant, almost seems to be misfiring. Once it has warmed up (keeping below 3000rpm) and you give it a bit of boost it does a big hesitate as the turbo starts to spool, then picks up, and is fine afterwards. If I drive the car the next day it will be fine. There is no activity on the knocklink at all and once warm the car seems to pull normally. The problem seems to have gotten worse the last month as it has gotten colder.
I suspect from reading other posts that this is the MAF but if it was the MAF I thought it would idle rough and hesitate all the time????
Any advice greatly appreciated.
