Default Un Equal Length Headers

Can anybody please advise .....

I am looking to buy a set of headers for my 93 wrx RA...

I can only seem to find them listed for cars produced after 96?

I presumed that they would all be the same for the EJ20 engine?

Are these all the same for the 'classic' impreza??

thanks in advance..

Yup, all classic impreza's have the same design headers.

Possibility that they dont have a lambda boss in them which is why they are 96>

Port out the old ones.

It cost about £50.00, most the cost of all the new gaskets!

About 3 Hours max

Seriously, though, I have got a carbide tool. You just need to hire a Die Grinder (Got mine for tool place near Rochester Station).

Its obviously less gaskets if you are not changing the up pipe

Jack up car, have a cup of tea - 30mins
undo uppipe/manifold - 10mins
Undo Manifold from heads and remove - 10mins
match manifold to head exhaust gaskets - 30mins
Rest of manifold without opening it up too much and reducing airflow - 20mins
Assemble with new gaskets 10mins
Refit manifold - 20mins

If you wanted to change the uppipe, you just need to drof off the down pipe and all the bolts are exposed. But its obviously two extra gaskets. - 20mins
