bit of a pain to fit and on par with the tdo5 you already have.

not worth it in my opinion.

Isn't the VF28 a rollerbearing turbo and the TD05 not??

How can they be on a par with each other?

yes it is a rollerbearing turbo, that doesn't make it a better turbo though, to be honest i would have a tdo5 over a vf28 if i had the choice of them at the same money.

tdo5 is a lot stronger and will make a little more power.

the standard td05 is good for over 350bhp so if you are not looking for more than that its not worth changing.

an uprated fuel pump, mappable ecu, front mount and bigger injectors would be the next things on my list.

should have said full de-cat and free flowing air filter first but i thought you would have those already if you are looking at a turbo upgrade.

my vf 28 spooled around 3400 rpm
im led the belive the td05 is a little bit later, but for the benifits you might as well just get the extra power and the much stronger turbo (which can be rebuilt if it breaks, unlike the ihi stuff)

3400rpm is very late. TD05 spools up quicker than that I believe.

was something wrong with your map?
