two wires of oil temp sensor?
I am in the process of fitting a oil temp gauge and an boost gauge. On the oil temp sensor there are two wires when i thought most sensors you only connect one wire can somebody help?

im fitting it to the sump i think the plug above piston 3 is a bugger to get to. cant remember the make of hand its not the usual one i think its auto something.

Hasn't it got a 3rd wire for a backlight?
All the autometer ones I've used normally have 4.
Earth, Live 12v, signal and switched backlight....
