Default Power FC injector question

I'm running 550's in a 94 STI JDM in Japan. The car has the Power FC installed and I'm looking for reccomendations for the injector lag time. I'd also like to take a look at some maps if you guys post them. I was looking for a website with mods and maps posted for experimentation purposes. I'm an american and I don't speak japanese so I'm not getting too much help here. I'm also in northern Japan where there aren't many tuners. Any help would be appreciated.

the default timings are very close to that of the 550s, which I have but not to hand.

are you using the hand controller or software to do the mapping?

Any specific questions for the mapping?

Also, you may get a better response on bbs.22b.com also there are a number of self tuners that have discussed various mapping issues on there, which should be easy to find with a search.

Cheers

lag time and injectors capacity are at 14 volts and 3 bars but the PDC don't ask this.
the PFC is maped for JDM STI .for example EJ207 PFC version (sti 5 and 6) is maped for 505 cc and 0.76 ms (read in the notice manuel).
if you have this configuration, you have to introduce 100 % for injector cycle and 0 ms for lag time.if your injectors are 660cc and 0.79 ms,you should map 550/660 = 83%
and 0.79 - 0.76 = +0.03 ms

Sti5/6 with 505 (or 550) injectors isn't right. 440s more like.... what is this notice manuel and are you sure it said sti5/6 are over500cc injectors??????

Thanks for the manual Charly.

You're spot on, page 49 says the EJ207 (98/9 - 00/7) has 505cc/min injectors with a lag time of 0.76ms. At what seems to be 14V and 3.05bar pressure.

What pressure are the injectors quoted at when we say 380cc/440cc??

hi Tony
no enquiry about 380/440,may be in the EJ20 version of the manual?,but no reason to be different.
all modern cars alternators are delivering 14 volts and genuine FRP are rated at 3 bars under atmospheric pressure

Yeah, that's what i thought...3 bar. I did have a set of sti5 injectors but sold them before i could get them flow tested. Would have been interesting to see the results as i've never seen the yellow injectors quoted at 505cc. Maybe i'm missing something obvious .

Like there is a mistake in the manual ?
I have never noticed a difference in maximum flow capacity during mapping them, injectors seem to top out around the same level as the turbos on V5 and 6 Sti

I will try to send the manual to all tonight... be warned tho unless you can read Japanese it's useless. You can make the numbers out for the injector scaling bit which is what we were discussing above.
