Sorry people, not into wheels...

Looking for a set of 18's for my STi8, the original are 225x45x17, which all I know are 17x7.5 ?!?!?!?

I've been looking at a set that are 225x40x18 and they come in a size of PCD5/112 and 5/120 - ET20 and ET40

I'm really lost, I can tune two strokes, I know nothing about wheels.

ET is the distance between hub and outside (or inside?) edge of wheel. Effectively moves the wheel in or out of the wheelarch.

Important to get it right - don't recal Subaru stock ET's; somewhere around 50 odd I think on the claissics. I'm running et45's and had to roll arches at rear, modify liners at front.

The PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter) you have quoted here are not for a Scooby. You need a PCD of 5/100 and an offset (ET) of anywhere between 48 and 52.

Be warned though mate, there are few wheels that clear the brembo calipers due to their width. So even if the specs match those above, they still might not fit.

Speedline Turini alloys will def. clear the calipers if that is of any help!
