Air Conditioning Noise 04STI
Hi,
I have a new STI 04, and have noticed when Air con is on - every minute or so I get a short pppssst noice that lasts for about 3 secs.
I have just had a 1000 mile service and mentioned it to the dealer who said it was normal. Well I didnt have that on my 03 WRX so I think they could see I didnt believe them. Anybody else have this noise on their 03/04/05 STI ?

The AC on Scoobs has never (IMHO) been that good.
My MY04 WRX Wagon's AC makes all sorts of odd noises, and every now and again has a gentle 'thud' followed by a hissing noise. The noise is followed by a bought of freshly delivered cold air though!
This 'feature' is just the same as my old MY99. The AC works, does make some odd sounds and seems to be a bit colder sometimes than others. Add to that the fact it makes the engine performance a bit jumpy and stuttery and it’s what I’d call a class package.
I don’t use it that much, as a prefer to have my windows down to listen to my exhaust note
