Hi all,
Looking for a bit of advice for a Technical Ludite(Myself) on a MY00 starting problem. The car is fitted with a Clifford Imob but I will let the better informed decide if it has an influence.

Symptons: 1. Car starts, put in code for imob then 5 secs later very faint click is heard somewhere behind right side of dashbord and car promptly cuts out. 2. Try again with same result. 3. Try again, engine turns over but does not catch. 4. The engine not catching continues until all I get when I try to start is a click from the starter motor. 5. Walk away from car for 10-30mins, jump in, starts first time!

Anyone any ideas as to what may be causing this? Its now happened 7 times in the last fortnight.

sounds alarm related......... do a search on hear i bet ya find several clifford related starting problems
