Fuel type
Guys, being a newbie I'm still a little confused as to what fuels are ok to use with scoobies. Clearly optimax is the forecourt champion but what is the next best ?? I've heard ESSO super and BP Ultra are the next to get .......... what are your opinions??

Some folks on here have reported increased knocklink activity using BP Ultra which has then dissappeared when reverting to Optimax. Haven't heard any complaints about Esso Super though.
Personally, I use optimax. :-)

On a JDM car optimax/octane booster
A UK STi requires super unleaded
P1 requires super unleaded
UK turbo requires unleaded
WRX requires unleaded
PPP'd cars need to be run on super unleaded
These are the minimum requirements for fuel, you can better the unleaded on the turbo and wrx to super unleaded and you will notice a difference (smoother etc)

PPP is a complex one. Early classics require SUL, later models (99 on?) don't. Also I believe the new WRX PPP is OK on normal unleaded but the STI PPP requires SUL.

Being that I have a 95 import wrx wagon, I assume that your (well appreciated) responses stay the same. Or because it's an import and the Japs use 100 RON, is optimax a minimum?
