Default Upgrade slanty my95 intercooler?

Hello,
I`ve in the process of finding out about an upgrade to my early type of intercooler.(on a my95 tdo5h car)
I know MRT do one, but its very pricey.
I`d ideally like to stay top mount for ease of installation and lower lag.
Who has found a solution?
the only one I`ve manged to find out about is modifying a sti5 version one to fit.
I will be fitting a waterspray to the intercooler too.

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Make one ?

A friend made this slightly oversize job for his 97uk, doesn't look to pretty but works really well !!

It is the full width of the scoop !

What about the hot air coming up from the turbo???

Sorry for thread hijack but:

I've just fit a 2002 intercooler into my MY94 and having a bit of difficulty with clearance. Can I move the pipe indicated in photo:

Perhaps I can move the mounts for the metal section a bit lower,.. or replace the pipe including metal centre section with one flexible piece that runs under the Intercooler?

Yes it's just the servo vac line, you can unbolt it and move it down a bit.
This car has the turbo, uppipe and downpipe wrapped with exhaust lagging to keep the heat in.
