Default DECAT FITTING MY00

Can anyone point me in the direction of a thread detailing how to fit the decat.Is it me or are they a fiddly b****d!

HI Mate, where in dorset are ya roughly, Anyways, the intercooler needs to come off, as does the turbo shroud, then it's basically an unbolt job, and bit fiddly under the turbo though, see the southern section for details of the Dorset meet on Monday eve!!!

cheers Ron.i`m in Bournemouth.Managed to fiddle the turbo shroud off without taking off the intercooler-butcher that i am!Is it tricky to take the intercooler off as it will have to come off for replacement of the shroud?

Nah mate, it's easy, three jubilee clips, two bolts, and the dump valve hose, then ease it off!!

Make sure you spray the 5 nuts where it bolts to the turbo with plenty of WD40 an hour or so before attempting to loosen them !
