Default Wind Deflectors - yes or no?

I've got a set of wind deflectors on the car which were on when I bought it, but I keep thinking about removing them and sticking them on ebay...

Do they actually make a difference? I still get quite a bit of wind noise due to a poor seal around the wing mirror area.

Who's got them and what are your thoughts?

If only that were true! Nice having the window open in the summer but I have to shut the window before washing bugs off the screen or I get totally drenched!

I've never been in a scoob that didn't have them, so I don't know if they make any noticeable difference or not, wondered if anyone has...
