Possible problems when replacing std. ECU
My 98MY UK/Euro Spec Turbo (211 PS/290 Nm)
has an alarm installed and has NO airbags.
Would replacing the standard ECU by a Prodrive
MY97/98 ECU cause any problems?

my friend has a MY98 UK Turbo, and also installed a Prodrive ECU, no problems.

Without having the key code re-recorded in the ECU with a Select
Monitor? It's said that it's necessary with a MY97/98 (immobiliser!!!).
