does the flat plastic duct just pull out from the junction where it goes into the inner wing panel?
i unbolted the duct from above the radiator but it seemed reluctant to part at the inner wing junction.
just wanted to know how it should come apart before exerting a bit of force!
thanks in anticipation.

The plastic duct only has a couple of screws at the front, and then pulls out
It is the resonator in the inner wing is "huge with a bulbous bottom end". It also has two bolts holding it in place, one accessable from under the bonnet, but the other isn't IIRC. It will come out through the wheel arch easy enough if you unclip the liner and bend it out of the way - easier but not necessary to take the wheel off. Btw, if anyone has a spare resonator from a bugeye kicking around, and wants to make a few quid, pm me, as I want one for a little "project" . . .
