i have a type r version 5 running about 330 brake without increasing the boost was thinking of purchasing a boost controller any ideas? as to

which ones are best suited to scoobys?

what power gains can be expected ?

and Whats safe ?

That power is too high for standard boost.
the Apexi Avc-r is a very good unit.
As for what is safe, Do you have Knocklink, Lambdalink etc??

no no knock link , hav rebuilt engine about 5 months ago used sti 9 cranck billet con rods and jp pistons rc ligtened and balanced fly wheel and performance air filter everything else as far as i know is standard. the car has a full systeme exhaust and boosts to 1.3 kg/cm2 ? is that boost correct and is 330 still to high ?

would like to increase my torque and power is the boost controller a good option
i really am a bit clueless??????

I have an Sti v3 with full 3'' decat and a Blitz boost controller.
On straight Optimax I run 1.25 bar and RR = 314 bhp. 440cc injectors (stock) are max'd out at that.
If you increase boost too far without fuel and time corrections things may go pop!
