MY03 Quick Rack ???
Hi oh wise peeps!
Having spent thousands on my beloved MY03 WRX, i still feel like it is not steering sharp enough, (not a very good description i know).
Is the STi steering rack sharper?
Can i get one fitted?
Anyone had it done?
How much?
Thanks.

The STi quick rack has a quicker turn in, not necessarily more feel.
BUT if you have thrown quite a bit of cash at your MY03 WRX you may have been better getting the STi with either the fast rack or the quick rack (JDM cars have the quick rack as an option) or you could check out www.gradea-subaru.co.uk as these people have them in stock.

MaDaSS, I've been down the same path as you (bought an 2002 WRX which I have since modded beyond belief - should really have bought an STI to start with).
I also felt the same about the steering and bought a quick-rack off GradeA (comes off a Jap Spec C). I finally got it fitted today at TSL, and the difference is truly amazing.
Not only is turn-in sharper and more direct, but there is more weight behind the steering wheel and much more feedback. I love it and recommend it !!
cheers
Dave
