Newage oil pressure sender thread size - quick answer needed

About to fit an oil pressure gauge to a newage wrx. I am going to remove the original oil pressure switch under the alternatore and replace it with a T piece so that i can fit both the new sender and the original switch.

What size thread is the original sender/switch please??

Any tips?

If I remember rightly it is 1/8th bspt.

I seen some people say it is BSP and others say BSPT, i assume the T means tapered, but which one is it???

oem switch is tapered. Last week I fitted a SPA oil pressure sensor which is 1/8 NPT and had no taper on it. This went into the tapped bung which the OEM sensor had gone in. Used PTFE on the thread and touch wood so far I have seen no leaks.
