1.2bar is too much.. on standard top mount intercooler.

I recently ran on the TMIC on my link ECU with boost set at 1.3bar on an MBC and I had to remove lots and lots of timing compared to standard map and the map I was running with a front mount intercooler to keep it happy and det free, this is with uprated fuel pump, regulator and 550 injectors.

Do you have a knocklink?

I would aim for about 1bar max.. do you have an induction kit? the induction kit changes the load the ecu sees, I didn't used to believe this, but now know it the truth, whcih is why when you fit one the car feels so much quicker as the load is not shown so high and more timing is run.. putting it nearer knock and possible engine damage.

As to fitting look at www.dawesdevices.com

These are a damn site cheaper then a Dawes (only £17) and are exactly the same thing. IMHO alot better looking and alot neater too.
