Any one just quicly tell me what a strut brace is??
Do i need one in my Wagon GL?? it probably wateva it is aint gonna serve a purpose, but it mite look nice!

What model/year?

A strut brace is a strong metal bar that bolts onto the top of the of the suspension units and should stop lateral movement. They do look nice.

General view is the strong body bug eye/blob eye models do not need them unless you have serious power/drive very hard/do track days.

 

A bit like the external cosmetic mods you're looking into M8. Insurance NEED to know and they WILL sting you. If you stuff the front on either side a strut brace will transfer the enegy across the chassis resulting in more damage and a more expensive payout. On the plus side, on classic shaped Scoobs they can tighten up the front end a bit
