WRX my04 & pppand fuel type questions
Hi
If the top speed of a my04 wrx is around 144 , what would the ppp arrive at ?
the ppp states that super unleaded must be used, then quotes the various torq and bhp increases but makes no mention of wether 98ron was used.
so does this meen i can use 97ron and still gain the ppp torq and bhp figures that they quote ?
and was the ppp ecu mapped originally on 97ron ?
if so , how big is the safty margine and bhp increase on 98?
ps my petrol flap inside sticker sais, use only 98 ron fuel ? this is a uk car.
read the manual and is sais 225ps with 98 or super i think ?
any thoughts or experiances anyone ?

The car should be run with super unleaded fuel (97 ron) but you can run it on 95 ron, it will decrease performance and fuel economy though.
Figures given should be whilst running 97 ron fuel for the PPP, ie 265ps, but if you run on 95, it will drop to say around 240ps, it really does retard it right back....
