I have a JDM MY03 Spec C. Brought it as a used import. I took the cover off to have a look at the ECU. Seems that the speedo input wire has a simple connector that you can disconnect. The previous owner had it disconnected, presumerably to take away the 180kph limiter.
Does anyone know if this will affect the operation of the abs or the airbags? The car drives fine with it disconnected. The ECU model is AH591.
By the way, anyone got a simple way of resetting the ECU?
