The turbo on my 95 wagon import is on its way out and i'm looking to replace it.
Could I get better performance by just replacing the turbo for something like a IHI VF34 or would I have to start looking at remapping or other mods.
Just cat back Magnex and pannel filter at the moment.

Best to get a replacement of the same TD05 that is on it now. The VF34 would IMHO be a downgrade.

 

Thought WRX Wagons had TD04's - WRX saloons having the TD05
