how to wire a boost gauge
hi guys have bought a boost gauge, fitted mounting and t-pieced into waste gate pipe, now all i need to do is wire up for light
i have a gauge with three wires on the rear(live, earth and ignition)
Where is the best place to wire this set-up to,was thinking stereo wires but that would mean messing around running wires from steering shroad accross the back of the dash to the stereo
any advice grateful
cheers guys mark

The ciggie lighter has meaty ignition cable - does the gauge really need a permanent live?
The hose to the gauge has to go under the steering area anyway, so just have the wire from the lighter led to the hose then tape the lot together, along the lower shroud below the steering column and up to the gauge.
The earth can be fixed to the side metal panel by the small fuse box - I seem to remember a threaded hole alreday free that a bolt can be into with the earth connector.

i wired mine to the uselight clock light switch so when you have the dims/main beam on the boost gauge light but also the clock light switch can turn it off if you need to work fine with me!
