Default HELP Bleeding PAS

Please help I fitted a new 'O' Ring Gasket tonight to my PAS Reservoir as it was missing.
My car is MY95 WRX Classic. Now the problem I have is that the PAS Pump is Whining a little and groans when turning steering from lock to lock. I don't know if I have bled the system properly or not so could someone please tell me how to do it properly.
All I done was top up the PAS Fluid again and turn the steering from lock to lock a few times and that was all.
Then I went for a run in the car and the pump started to whine whilst I was driving. it was fine before I replaced this 'O' Ring gasket so I'm assuming it's not been bled properly.

as the title, but from my experience the PAS only whines and makes strange noises when low or running dry, is there any other leak, indicating that a Joint or Seal has failed???? never heard of an air lock in a resevoir before.

Good luck..

They can take a bit of filling.

Fill up, then lock to lock several times with engine on, top up again, lock to lock sevreal times, top up, etc.

Slowly it will take less and less to top up.
