Unhappy Just Broken Down quite urgent

Hi All

Just broken down in my MY95 Turbo wagon.
After a bit of advice.

When i first turned the key to the point of where you here the fuel pump prime it wasn't the usual noise. It was quite noisy . Still started first time though. Drove about 4 miles when i lost power in third , changed to forth and all fine. Came to a hill and started to drive up it struggled in all gears just no power.
Got to the top went to pull away and nothing no power. found a safe place to park up stopped the car and thats it now she won't start at all, no fuel pump noise at all either.
Is this the fuel pump gone?If so any ideas on cost.
Any help appreciated

Pete

Hi,

If you look under the dash - RHD -O/S - find your 2 green and 2 black single pin connectors, connect the 2 green connectors together, switch on the ignition and you should hear your fuel pump pulse every two seconds (you will also hear your rad fan switch on and off). If you can't hear the pump then start with fuses first.

Hope this helps

Unhappy Its Not my week

Its really turning in to a bad 7 days.

After breaking down with fuel pump failure.
I've now got clutch slip in fifth, so new clutch time. Going to replace with a Borg & Beck. Alot of people on here seem to like them and the price is good.

Ah well all part and parcel of Scooby ownership
