Unhappy hose to intercooler snaped.......HELP

Hi

I have a 94 wrx and whilst trying to take off the intercooler the pipe which the dump valve connects to snaped off the hose from the intercooler. This now leaves a hole in the hose.

Can i get a replacement hose or would it involve a new intercooler.

Please help.

Thanks

Dave.

Is it the hose from the turbo to the intercooler with the smaller T- off it? If it is, you can buy a Samco silicon one. Somewhere like www.raldes.co.uk usually have them.

I got one of these the other week, think the kit number is TB242 (You'll need to check on the Samco website). You have to cut the existing pipe and insert it into the samco one. It's a tight fit at the front of the intercooler but all suqashes into place eventually.

It is the hose from the Turbo to the intercooler but i cant see the T. Its surpose to have a bit to connect the dump valve to just next to the turbo but that bit snapped off.

Cheers

Talking

basically get the Samco turbo hose set for your MY, as said before. You have to cut your exsiting plastic inlet pipe in half, but the section that you throw away is the section you have broken.

Yes, tape up the hole in the IC pipe with some strong tape, leave the DV in the turbo inlet pipe and disconnect the manifold feed to the DV and bung that too. Then drive off boost whilst your Samco kit is in the post.

You have ordered the Samco kit already??

Paul,

I've ordered the samco turbo hoses, so hopefully the right hose is there. Done a quick DIY job at the mo, must keep off boost.

Hows your clutch.

Ive also recently replaced the hoses with samco ones.
My95.
The pipe underneath the intercooler needs cutting in half so you can slide the new one on. I used a jubilee clip too. It takes a while as the plastic pipe has thick walls.

Hope this helps
