Engine Warning

94 wrx import, if under heavy acceleration Check engine light comes on, after light comes on the car will not go above 4500rpm, checked via plugs under dash for fault code an it came up with code 33 (speed sensor 2) any help on this would be appriceated thanks

Either speed sensor from gearbox or rear of tacho has come undone, if you recently had clutch work someone may just have dislodged it, put it back in situ & all should be well again

finally traced it to cut wire from ecu previous owner must of had something wired to it before selling the car
