Home service - how does this sound?
Quite happy to get my fingers dirty and have done things like oils and plugs etc so was thinking about a DIY service schedule. Owned the car 12 months and done about 10K so far.
Engine Oil - every 4 months, car isn't driven hard and does about 700 a month
Gearbox and rear diff - Every 12 months
Plugs - Every 12 months
Maf and Lambda - Every 24 months - dependent if MAF pops in between time
Fuel Filter - Every 18 months
Brake fluid change performed by local Subaru Specialist. Also would take car to said specialist every 6 months for inspection of things like CV boots etc and just a good check over for faults.
One thing I haven't included is power steering fluid - when should that be changed?
Anything else I've missed?
Don't see why a potential buyer would be put off (if I were to sell) to see a folder full of reciepts for the parts mentioned above together with invoices from specialist to say they've had a good check round every6 months.
