Default Whats the best air filter?

As above, which is the best panel filter to have? its for a 97 WRX and what price can i expect to pay? cheers

Genuine sti filter. Ive seen the proof on the dyno.
About £45 or more.

Another vote for Green. As used by Peugeot WRC team & others - can't be that bad?! Being a dry cotton panel, they pose little or no risk to later, fragile MAF sensors. K&N are oiled, so the risk increases and Blitz have a reputation for superior airflow at the expense of filtration so buy one of those if you'd like a grit-blasted turbine.

Apparently some interesting results in the new sccobymagazine, bit of a surprise from the ITG (still not reccomended) and the STi

Id go K&N then green in that order....
