Just become the owner of RB5 No.256. The car has a tow bar fitted which I want to remove and sell if anyone is interested?

The problem is, where does the rear silencer mount when the towbar is removed? As it hangs from the towbar. Is there a bracket that is removed when the towbar is fitted? Because I need it!

I have a My99 with a bosal towbar (subaru one with detachable ball). The rear box is held on with a bracket which is bolted through the towbar chassis attachment and into the rear bumper attachment bracket which slides into the chassis (this is on the nearside). Are u sure its missing?

You may be right, I will have to inspect it again in the daylight. It looked like the towbar and exhaust mount were one piece, but I could be wrong. Will try unbolting it and see what happens.
