Default side lights permanently on

Noticed today that on my MY00 Classic the side lights are permanently on. I had a quick check around and noticed that both rear lights are off. Head lights and main beam are working fine. I've pulled the fuse (which is shared for side lights and rears) to save the battery but havn't had time to investigate further.

Any ideas ?

cheers

Rob

yeah - I had this too - it's proably the parking light switch - black rocker switch on top of the steering column shroud - just behind the steering wheel.

I must have knocked mine on while cleaing the car

thanks guys..... spot on... I've just been outside and sure enough, twas the offending switch...must have knocked it when dusting the dash.

I have got a rear light out though which is either a bulb or loose wire.

Cheers
