Hey lads ive a classic impreza just wondering what exactley a front mounted intercooler does.

It has pro's and con's.

+The main idea is to lower the air intake temperature for greater performance. It does this by being bigger (usually), and by being positioned at the front of the car there is more cold air to pass through it.

-Increase in turbo lag, more weight, less effective water cooling.
